In John’s Gospel and in our own lives, recognizing who Jesus is and what he is doing requires a particular kind of seeing and unseeing. Starting in January, we will journey alongside many in the Gospel of John who do not truly “see” Jesus at first–Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman, Mary, Thomas and others all misapprehend Jesus in their own way, but eventually come to a new way of seeing him.
Through this series, we hope both to recognize more clearly the presence of Jesus in our lives, and to learn what prevents us from seeing Jesus at work in our midst.
Below you will find a collection of resources to support our exploration in this series. These have been selected by the pastoral team to both help guide their teaching and deepen our community’s understanding. As the series progresses we will update this page with recordings of the teachings, and may add more resources as we go along.
